Welcome to the Crystal City Historical Society in Crystal City, Missouri

Incorporated in 1979, it is our mission to preserve and promote Crystal City’s history for future generations. Specifically, the charter of our organization is to:

Study, protect, preserve, restore and interpret sites and objects significant to the culture of the City of Crystal City, the state of Missouri and the USA.
Encourage owners of historical treasures to preserve and restore features of our historic heritage.
Collect and preserve in safekeeping any and all articles and data of historic interest.

We are now (as of August 2023) located in the old Girl Scout House just south of the Crystal City football field where we operate a small museum full of historical artifacts.
We hold regularly scheduled meetings every month and open the museum from noon to 4 p.m. the first Sunday of every month. Exceptions are made when this conflicts with holidays. Check our Facebook page for updates.
